Malabon Skatepark
A skate park is currently in construction in Malabon. There will be an entrance fee for the park that will be given as payment for the owner of the property which was generously lent at a very low price to help the community of skateboarders of Malabon. The park will not be open everyday and will be on a reservation basis.

COG- skatepark opens Tomorraw Oct 12,2012
That's right folks! The wait is over COG skate park opens tomorrow.
Now you can beat the rain and skate!
The park set up is still a surprise, so go out and see for yourself what obstacles await you.
How to get to Eton Centris?
As long as you know how to get to EDSA there won't any problem getting here.
ETON CENTRIS is located at the MRT- QUEZON AVE. STATION.
-From north ( Monumento Area)
ride a bus going to cubao, ortigas,etc. and drop off at Quezon ave. Then cross EDSA via the MRT station. there you wil find yourself at ETON CENTRIS
-FROM SOUTH( Alabang, Makati, Pasay)
you can either take the MRT and drop off at Quezon ave. station or ride a bus going to Navotas, Malanday or Garden.
Now you can beat the rain and skate!

CoG - Center of gravity skatepark
Alas! the wait is over!
COG will be opening it's new skate shop on November 10,2012 at Eton Centris Walk,Q.Ave, Quezon CIty, well a new skate shop isn't a big deal anymore unlike the old days of the 80's and 90's.
What is more exciting is that aside from of the shop they will also be opening an indoor skatepark!
yeah you heard it a skate park for the folks of the North. The shop stands in the former place of Zongs and taste of Asia. Roughly the size of the park is a 4 restaurants that was put together.
Opening of the park is expected on October 12,2012

Friday skate session after storm "Marce"
After the storm "Marce" left the Phillipines, at last we were able to skate again. Everyone's feet is itching to get on their boards again and roll. At 3pm were already skating, setting up the obstacle, warming up, ollieing, flipping or whatever. We also had guest skaters from the Bagong Bario crew of Caloocan that day(such cool guys! so much bag of tricks yet humble).

All were on hot skate level, that our sessions usually ended up by 6:30 but t'was already 8pm when we ended.
The day was crazy, all are crazy we were experimenting on the obstacles(I still don't have much of the photo's but will post it soon)

This was our spot a decade ago, the plaza of Malabon City.( Malabon was not yet a city back then)
smooth ground, no cracks, no deformations on the floor. No irritating kids borrowing your boards.
Once a playground of the veteran skaters of the 90's and early 2000's.
The stage behind is a waist high drop. A good spot throwing down your flips!
